hi ethanolics,

i am a moderator from a German ethanol forum and there we are discussing about the quality of the E85.
In Germany there is a norm called DIN 51625 for the E85. According to this norm our fuel must be a blend of dry ethanol (>99.9%, no water) and petrol.

The range of the ethanol part is between 70 and 80% in winter, between 75 and 90% in summer.

is there a similar regulation in France, too?

ah, i see! thanks
that explains why some people, who refuel their cars in the nearby french stations, do not really have starting problems.
